Flights can be booked anytime but the final schedule and time of departure is only released 180 days prior to the cruise.

Airfare Rules For These Sample Fares:
• $100 non-refundable deposit is required. Full and final payment is due 45 days prior to departure
• Ticket is 100% non-refundable
• No name changes permitted
• Changes result in a change fee plus the difference in the new ticket fare plus a $40.00 service fee.
• Cancellation results in a travel credit which would expire one year from the ticket booking date.
• Passengers require a valid passport.

AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS
• A discount of 5% off the cruise portion to any active-duty Canadian military personnel.
• Groups of 16 or more guests (6 Room minimum) can apply for a group discount by calling our office at 866-771-4228. All rooms must be the same catagory or will be prorated accordingly. Group rates must be requested in advance and include the names of all participants, with deposits for each, at the time of the group booking.

FEES, CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS
Because of the nature and uniqueness of our event we have a strict cancellation policy. The person that places a reservation for "Laughter is the Best Medicine" "owns" the reservation. They must agree to any changes made to the reservation. Name changes before final payment are allowed. Guests moving from one Room to another is a reservation change, not a name change, and is subject to a minimum $50(USD) administrative fee by Carnival Cruise Lines for each reservation affected. The Lead Passenger is not allowed to change their name. With written consent, you may transfer your reservation to another party by paying a $300(USD) transfer fee to Carnival Cruise Lines. Carnival Cruise Lines will not consent to a reservation transfer after the final-payment date.

If you have cruise insurance and need to cancel for a covered condition, you can make a claim with the insurance carrier to recover any lost payments. A reservation for the cruise is valid only for the person(s) named within as Guests and cannot be transferred without The Great Canadian Comedy Tour Company's written consent.

Deposit and Payments: A $250(USD) non-refundable deposit per person for all catagories except suites, $500(USD) for a suite per person. Check, Visa, MasterCard is required at time of reservation. A second payment of $250(USD) is due by November 1, 2008. The balance is due by January 15, 2009. Your deposit ensures that our rates for your chosen room (room only fare) will not change. All taxes, surcharges (including fuel etc.) and port charges are subject to change until your final payment date of January 15, 2009 and are beyond our control.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is highly recommended and available starting at $108.00 per person.

Cancellation Fees: Should you cancel for any reason, the deposit is Non-Refundable. The cancellation schedule is as follows:
• Cancel by January 15, 2009 and receive all monies back less deposit
• Cancel by March 1, 2009 and receive 50% of monies paid back less deposit
• No refunds of any kind after March 2, 2009

Airline Arrival/Departure Information:
If you are traveling by air to and from Fort Lauderdale, your flight must arrive no later than 1:00 PM on Sunday April 19, 2009 and your return flight should depart no earlier that 12 Noon April 25, 2009. Due to the possibility of flight delays due to weather and other factors, we recommend coming in the night before to ensure that you do not miss the boat. We can help you make pre-departure hotel arrangements for you from $99(USD) Days Inn to $160(USD) Hampton Inn per room/night (based on double occupancy).

Passenger Identification Documentation Requirements:
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has completed registration using Carnival's FUNPASS, it is still the responsibility of the guest to bring all required travel documents.
The Great Canadian Comedy Tour Company strongly recommends its guests travel with a passport since it will greatly expedite clearance by the Department of Homeland Security and in other countries.

General Conditions for all Cruises All passages are sold subject to conditions appearing on Passage Contract Ticket. Rates are in US dollars, per person based on double occupancy of accommodations selected, unless otherwise noted. Schedule, fares and ports of call are subject to change without notice. Entertainers and featured personalities may be changed or substituted due to unforeseen circumstances.

As of January 1, 2008 Carnival will be changing its minimum age and pregnancy restrictions. Minors under the age of 14 may not be booked in a balcony stateroom unless an adult 25 years or older is booked in the same stateroom. This also applies to connecting staterooms with balconies.

Guests that will be 25 weeks or more into their pregnancy by the end of the cruise will not be permitted to sail. Those that are 24 weeks or less by the end of the sailing will need to provide Carnival with a doctors letter that mother and baby are in good health and fit to travel and that the pregnancy is not high risk.

The Great Canadian Comedy Tour Company or their owners, employees and agents assume no responsibility or liability in connection with the service of the vessel, carriage, motor vehicle or other conveyance which may be employed in the performance of their duties to the passenger. Nor can the entities mentioned above be held responsible for the actions of Carnival Cruise Lines. They also shall not be responsible for any act, error or omission or for any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity due to any defect in any vehicle or through neglect or default of any company or person engaged in carrying you or your baggage or for any other person engaged in providing services to you or those traveling with you. No carrier shall have or incur any responsibility or liability to you or those traveling with you, except its liability as a common carrier. If it become necessary or advisable for the comfort or well being of the passengers or for any other reason to alter itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made at the discretion of cruise management or its authorize representatives. It is understood and agreed that refunds cannot be made to any passenger who does not complete the cruise for any reason whatsoever.

The acceptance of a ticket by you and by those traveling with you constitutes acceptance of the general information and conditions set forth in this policy. The rates shown are based on the tariff in force at the date of display and are subject of change by the carrier prior to embarkation.
